Welcome
We, the people of St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church, bonded by our Baptism in Jesus Christ, are a pilgrim community journeying toward God, our Father. Guided by the Holy Spirit, our call to discipleship requires us to be informed by the Gospel challenge, and nurtured by prayer and Eucharist. As a welcoming community, respectful of all life and all God’s gifts, we support each other in order to fulfill the call to service in our families, our community, and our world.

Lent 2010
This year, Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 17 and ends on Holy Thursday, April 1. It is a time of reflection, prayer, and preparation. The Easter Triduum begins with the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday evening and ends at dusk on Easter Sunday.  As your schedule permits, we invite you to take part in our Lenten activities, and to celebrate with us during the Easter Triduum.

2010 LENTEN FOCUS

Priesthood of the Baptized

Each week, as our parish community journeys with those who will be baptized at the Easter Vigil, we will focus on an element of the baptismal liturgy when we died and rose with Christ through the saving waters. In baptism, we are called as members of Christ’s Body to praise God with our lives, both individually and communally.

The suggested Offertory donation that was presented to each family in the original Commitment to Parish Life mailing took into consideration all of their donations in the past two years, which included regular weekly donations and any donations made to second collections. Part of the plan was to limit second collections to a few significant concerns.
